Cindy Holland, the incoming head of streaming for the merged Paramount-Skydance, is bringing on two former colleagues — Jane Wiseman and Efrain Miron — whom she worked with at Netflix and production company Sister for key management roles.
Holland will be chair of direct-to-consumer for Paramount Skydance, when deal close occurs (expected Thursday). Holland was Netflix’s VP of original content, before leaving the streamer in 2020 after 18 years. She joined Sister in July 2023 as global CEO, before stepping down last fall to take on a role as senior adviser to Skydance Media CEO David Ellison ahead of the expected close of the Paramount merger.
With Holland coming on board, Tom Ryan, CEO of Paramount Streaming who has overseeing Paramount+ and Pluto TV, is leaving the company.
Wiseman will join the new Paramount as executive VP, head of originals for Paramount+, responsible for leading the development and production of the platform’s slate of original content. She had joined Sister in 2024 as head of U.S. television, where she oversaw the company’s TV division with a focus on developing and producing premium scripted series.
Prior to Sister, she was among the first executives hired by Holland to build the Netflix original series
team in 2014. As VP of original series and head of comedy, Wiseman helped launch series including “Ozark,” “Narcos,” “Dead to Me,” “Russian Doll,” “Master of None,” “Never Have I Ever,” “Big Mouth,” “BoJack Horseman,” “The Kominsky Method” and “Grace and Frankie.” Before Netflix, she served as SVP at Chernin Entertainment, where she oversaw development and worked on “New Girl” for Fox, and previously spent six years at NBC as SVP of comedy, where she developed hits like “Parks and Rec” and “Community.”
Miron will be new Paramount’s executive VP, head of content strategy and licensing for direct-to-consumer. In that role, he will oversee strategy, dealmaking and valuation for Paramount+ and Pluto TV across all originals and content licensed for the streaming services.
Like Wiseman, Miron also was hired as one of the first employees at Netflix dedicated to the company’s original programming efforts in 2012, where he worked as a senior strategist and dealmaker at the company for nine years. Miron oversaw business affairs for several divisions at Netflix, including the U.K. unit, young adult/family series and the company’s overall deals group. He spearheaded negotiations for multiple original series including “The Crown” and “Wednesday.”
Most recently, Miron was as president of strategy and business affairs for Sister. He began his career as an attorney in the M&A, securities and corporate group of law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman focusing on representing the firm’s roster of entertainment & media clients.

At a time of incredible opportunity for Paramount and our industry, I’m confident these forward-minded leaders will propel our vision and reignite a shared sense of purpose and ambition throughout our teams.”
On Tuesday, Skydance announced the 10 designated board members for the new Paramount Skydance Corp., including Sherry Lansing, former head of Paramount Pictures; Safra Catz, who has served as CEO of Larry Ellison’s Oracle since 2014; and Gerry Cardinale, whose RedBird Capital Partners was a major backer of the Paramount takeover.
On July 24, the FCC approved the Skydance-Paramount deal, which is expected to close Thursday, Aug. 7. Two days prior to the agency’s approval, Skydance’s general counsel sent letters to Carr promising that Skydance would install an ombudsman at CBS to review “complaints of bias or other concerns” and that the company was committed to ensuring “CBS’s editorial decision-making reflects the varied ideological perspectives of American viewers.”
