Massive wildfire in France surpasses the size of Paris, continues to spread

French authorities on Wednesday said the country’s biggest wildfire of the summer is still spreading after breaking out on Tuesday in the Aude department near the Spanish border. The blaze has burned over 13,000 hectares – an area larger than Paris – and killed one person, injuring several others.
