Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) was verbally assaulted during a town hall she held Thursday night in Dallas.
While Crockett shared a heartfelt memory about her grandmother — whom she described as one of her “favorite people in the entire world” — right-wing personality Sara Gonzales, who was in the audience, began hurling insults at the congresswoman. Gonzales initially shouted the Democrat’s name, then quickly escalated to attacks on her character and upbringing.
“The people of Dallas deserve better than a fake ghetto hoodrat!” Gonzales screamed.
In a video Gonzales posted to X, formerly Twitter, that night, Crockett is seen calming the audience members — who appear visibly disturbed by the outburst. That, however, did little to deter Gonzales, who continued her tirade.
“Do they know you’re a rich kid from Missouri?” she challenged the congresswoman.
She doubled down on that line of attack, going on to label Crockett “spoiled.”
Shortly after, Gonzales was confronted by several angry attendees and ultimately escorted out by security — though not before continuing to shout obscenities. By the end of the video, police can be heard telling Gonzales to leave the premises or face arrest.
“This is part of the problem. I want y’all to be part of the solution,” she said. “We are going to show these people that ignorance will not win today.”

“Why are people surprised?” Loomer asked. “This is typical DEI Shaniqua behavior.”
Crockett called the report “slander,” “nonsense” and “lies.”
