Israel will soon restrict or slow the flow of humanitarian aid into parts of northern Gaza as it intensifies its offensive against Hamas, an official said Saturday, a day after Gaza City was declared a combat zone. The move is expected to draw further condemnation of the Israeli government amid mounting frustration at home and abroad over worsening conditions for Palestinians and the remaining hostages after nearly 23 months of war.
