Israel strikes Doha in attack it says targeted Hamas officials

Israel on Tuesday launched an airstrike in Qatar that hit a building used for ceasefire negotiations between Hamas and Israel. Although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attack targeted senior Hamas officials, the UN and leaders around the world, including the US, condemned the attack as a violation of Qatar’s national sovereignty.
