Additional performers for the annual BST Hyde Park concert series will be announced in the months leading up to Capaldi’s July 2026 performance
Lewis Capaldi is set to take the lead as the headliner for next year’s BST Hyde Park concert series. The musician will take the main stage at the London event on July 11, 2026, with additional performers scheduled to be announced in the coming months.
Capaldi is back on the road after taking some time off in 2023 to focus on his physical and mental health. The hiatus began after his performance at Glastonbury that year. He explained at the time that he had difficulty performing due to tics and would be halting live appearances “for the foreseeable future.” The singer-songwriter returned in June with “Survive,” which addressed his health struggles in the wake of his battle with Tourette’s syndrome.
In July, Capaldi took the stage at Hyde Park as a special guest during Noah Kahan’s set. The pair performed “Northern Attitude” for an audience of more than 60,000 people. The appearance came just a few days after Capaldi took a second stab at Glastonbury with a triumphant return.
“I’m not going to say much up here today, because if I do, I’ll probably start crying. It’s just amazing to be here with you all, and I can’t thank you enough for coming out and coming to see me,” he told the crowd at the time. “Second time’s the charm on this one.”
Capaldi’s Hyde Park performance will be part of an extended tour through the UK and Ireland beginning in June 2026. “So surreal to be announcing the biggest tour I’ve ever done,” he wrote on Instagram. “Means more than you know and I can’t wait to see some of you out and about next year!!”
The musician is currently on a sold-out tour across the UK and Ireland for the remainder of September with additional shows scheduled for Australia in December.
