TORONTO – Bonnie Crombee (sp?), the person who has apparently been head of the Liberal Party of Ontario since 2023, is reportedly not doing that anymore.
“Despite getting over 50% support at the leadership review, it’s clear voters were hungry for someone who would distinguish themselves more from Doug Ford,” said political analyst Myles Cohen. “Someone who wouldn’t be so totally invisible on the campaign trail that people had to google ‘ontario liberals still exist?’
“And that spelled doom for Ms. Crumbles.”
At the end of the day Banana Crumcakes was simply not able to command the attention of the public, especially compared to Doug Ford’s ability to take centre stage at every moment.
“Yeah I remember her announcing her candidacy for Party Leader. And I saw yesterday she resigned. In between those two days I couldn’t tell you a single thing. I know she was a…human woman with…hair. And that her policies were…political,” said Ontario voter Danielle Milner.
While Ontario Liberals will be thrown into another Leadership race, the NDP now have a golden opportunity to unite the progressive vote behind their banner. So all eyes will be on their leader… oh god what’s her name again?
