The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the 2025 International Emmy Awards on Thursday, with 64 contenders across 16 categories representing a record 26 countries.
“This year’s nominees reflect the global strength of our industry,” said International Academy President and CEO Bruce L. Paisner in a statement. “New York City will once again serve as the global stage this November, where we will honor their remarkable achievements.”
The U.K. has the most nominations across all categories with 12. Other countries represented include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong — China, India, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Norway, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates.
On the production and studio front, global streaming giant Netflix leads with five nominations which includes “Love is Blind: Habibi.”
Nominees will gather in New York for the International Emmy World Television Festival from Nov. 21–23, featuring panels, presentations and partner events. Winners will be announced at the 53rd International Emmy Awards Gala on Nov. 24.
