The stars of TLC’s Meet the Putmans are mourning three family members who died in a car crash.
Isabelle Putman shared a message on the official Instagram for the family’s follow-up YouTube series, Growing Up Putman, announcing that her grandfather “Papa” Bill Putman, her grandmother “Neenee” Barb Putman, and her aunt Megan Putman were killed in a “tragic car accident.”
“I come to you with a heavy heart asking for your prayers,” Isabelle wrote on social media. “We lost Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan. They have gone home to be with the Lord.”
Isabelle also said that Blake — who is the son of Bill and Barb that was married to Megan — was also injured in the accident, as well his children Lulu, Alena, and Noah, and his niece Gia.
“As they remain in the hospital, we are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them,” Isabelle wrote.

The family’s statement offered hopeful words about their loved ones. “We know Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan are not gone forever,” Isabelle wrote on behalf of her family. “They are alive and whole in Heaven, standing before Jesus, hearing the words we all long to hear: ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.'”
Isabelle later asked for prayers again for the sake of the entire Putman family. “We ask for your continued prayers for Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, and Gia as they recover, and for our whole family as we walk through this deep loss,” she wrote. “Even in this valley, we will praise Him. We trust that His plan is perfect, and that one day, we will be reunited in Heaven.”
The statement concluded by expressing gratitude for the support that the family has received. “Thank you for every prayer, message, and act of love,” Isabelle wrote. “Your support means more than words can express. Please continue to lift us up, that our hearts remain fixed on the truth that Jesus conquered death so we could have eternal life.”

Meet the Putmans documented the lives of Bill and Barb Putman as well as their four adult children and a multitude of grandchildren, all of whom lived in a single intergenerational home. The show ran for six episodes on TLC from September to October 2017.
The Putmans later launched a follow-up series, Growing Up Putman, on YouTube in 2021. Their channel’s most recent upload was in January.
