Chieng reacted to a clip of Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) telling Fox News that Vought — a key architect of the Project 2025 right-wing policy blueprint who met with Trump to determine which “Democrat Agencies” could face permanent cuts — has been preparing for such a moment “since puberty.”
“Look, I know puberty can get weird, but this guy’s balls dropped and he was like, ‘Oh, man, I want to fire people in the government so bad, especially Democrats,’” joked Chieng, who pretended to pleasure himself under his desk.
“This is probably the only 13-year-old in history who hid a copy of the federal budget inside a Penthouse,” he added.
Moments earlier, Chieng declared that Vought may be “even more excited about tearing down the government” than Trump, who claimed that “a lot of good” can come from shutdowns earlier this week.
The comedian said Democrats made a “fatal mistake” on the president.
“They assume that Donald Trump cares about the government he’s the president of,” Chieng quipped. “You think you’re playing a game of chicken, but he’s playing a game of let me crash into your car.”
Check out more of Chieng’s Thursday monologue on “The Daily Show.”
