Ep 01 (29 mins) – Best friends Evie and Noa have watched films together since they first met at university. Eight years on, Evie isn’t coping with life anymore, so she’s moved back home to live with her mum, Suz, and sister Izzie in the Manchester suburbs.
Film Club’s moved with Evie – to Suz’s garage. Unable to face the world outside and trapped at home with little else to occupy her, Evie pours all her creativity into decorating the space beautifully to reflect the movie they’re watching every week and making herself the perfect costume.
But a change on the horizon is bringing up newfound feelings for Evie and Noa. Or feelings they’ve never admitted to themselves or each other…
