Fallon tossed to a mock White House campaign video where a narrator breaks down why the president “deserves” to win the coveted award.
“He inspires other nations,” said the narrator before a clip played of Trump telling the United Nations General Assembly that their countries are “going to hell.”
The narrator goes on to make the case that Trump is “devoted to learning about every foreign country” and “supports those who are grieving” before playing clips of the president calling Argentina a “great guy” and assuming that a steelworker’s father is dead.
The video concludes with an argument for how Trump “always stops things from escalating too far” by using a clip of the president’s escalator episode at the U.N. last month.
