If Anthony Edwards were to get traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves, he isn’t interested in finding out about the news on social media.
“If you know I’m finna get traded, you better motherf–king text me,” Edwards told ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania in a video posted on his YouTube channel (17:19 mark). “Don’t leak that s–t on the motherf–king Twitter and X. Man, send me a text. Let me know.”
While Edwards’ status as Minnesota’s franchise player is secure, players finding out about their trades on social media has become common in recent years.
