Bosnia on Thursday called an early election in its autonomous Republika Srpska to replace outgoing president Milorad Dodik, who was stripped of his powers earlier this month after a court found he had flouted decisions made by the international peace envoy. Dodik has called the elections “meaningless” and predicted mass demonstrations in the Serb-majority statelet.
