Cleveland traded Kenny Pickett to the Raiders following roster cuts, leaving Gabriel and Sanders as Flacco’s backups to open the season. Gabriel was named the No. 2 QB, while Sanders has been the third and emergency signal-caller.
The starter in Cleveland for four games of the season, Flacco has thrown six interceptions this season, and the final straw was two interceptions in the first half of last Sunday’s 34-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.
