“The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon on Thursday found a way to make the government shutdown entertaining. Well, at least for his viewers.
“If this does last a while, I think they should at least make it fun for the rest of us, right?” Fallon asked his audience.
Then he suggested: “How about for each day of the shutdown, they release one name from the Epstein list?”
The audience cheered at the idea of releasing more information related to the investigations into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a onetime close friend of President Donald Trump who Trump has sought to distance himself from in recent years.
“Come on, just one name. One name. Why not? Keep it fun for us!” Fallon joked.
The comedian then imagined a “makeup swap” between Trump and Vice President JD Vance if the shutdown drags on for a week, before showing a mock-up image of what that might look like.
