Prime minister Sébastien Lecornu has resigned, creating a political earthquake in France. Lecornu was Prime minister for under a month, and was the fifth to hold the post in two years. His resignation renewed the focus on France’s President, Emmanuel Macron, who is under pressure to act to resolve the crisis, by either dissolving the National Assembly, like he did last year, or quitting himself. Story by Charlotte Lam and France 2.
