Katy Perry kissed a G7 leader, and she liked it.
Though the “Lifetimes” singer has not confirmed swirling rumors of a romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, photos surfaced over the weekend that all but gave the green light to Truderry stans.
The pair can be seen kissing and cuddling atop the 78-ft. yacht Caravelle off the coast of Santa Barbara, Calif., in the photos obtained by PEOPLE. Both Perry and Trudeau wear swimsuits as they glide through the sunny Southern California waters.

Both Perry and Trudeau exited long-term relationships within the past few years.
Perry’s split from Orlando Bloom, her on-and-off partner of nine years and fiancé of six, is more recent. The Hollywood power couple announced they had called off their long engagement in June. While Perry has only glancingly addressed the breakup, Bloom offered a sunny outlook on the situation in September, assuring that things are “going to be great,” and that “it’s nothing but love” between him and Perry,

Trudeau, meanwhile, announced his separation from Sophie Grégoire, his wife of 18 years, in 2023.
“As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build. For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy,” he shared in a statement at the time.
Trudeau’s personal upheaval may not be as fresh as Perry’s, but there’s no contest for his recent professional upheaval. In January, Trudeau announced his resignation from his 10-year post as the Prime Minister of Canada amid a steep decline in public approval, as well as growing opposition from within his own party.

Both Trudeau and Perry have children. Perry shares 5-year-old Daisy Dove Bloom with Bloom, while Trudeau and Grégoire share three children: Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11. At the time of their breakup, representatives for Perry shared with EW that the pop star and Bloom “will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
