Reality TV personality Melissa Rycroft was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated last month in Texas.
Rycroft, best known for her appearances on The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars, was booked in the Southlake area in Tarrant County on Sept. 24, according to arrest records reviewed by Entertainment Weekly.
She was released on a $1,000 bond with a promise to appear in court, according to TMZ, which was the first to report the news.
Tarrant County police didn’t immediately respond to EW’s request for comment on Friday.

In a statement, Rycroft’s attorney, Bret Martin, told EW, “I want to remind the public of the fundamental principle of our justice system… every individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty./ We, as a society, have gotten completely away from this fundamental concept. My client was arrested on the allegation of driving while intoxicated. An arrest is no indication of guilt.”
“It is imperative that we closely examine the circumstances of this case — including the conduct of law enforcement, the toxicology results, and the facts surrounding her arrest — before any conclusions are drawn,” Martin added. “We respectfully request that the media and the public allow the legal process to unfold and withhold any judgment whatsoever until all of the evidence has been properly analyzed and presented in a court of law.”

Rycroft made her Bachelor Nation debut on season 13 of The Bachelor in 2009, winning the heart of single father Jason Mesnick by the end of the season. Mesnick proposed before famously breaking things off to instead pursue his now-wife, runner-up Molly Malaney.
A former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Rycroft also appeared throughout CMT’s Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. She also competed on Dancing With the Stars for season 8 in 2009 and again for the celebrity season 15 in 2012, taking home the trophy for the show’s first all-star season.
She is married to insurance broker and fellow reality personality Tye Strickland. The duo headlined their own short-lived reality show Melissa & Tye back in 2012 for CMT.
