The Cleveland Browns’ secondary secured the team’s first interception of the day with a pick-six from new cornerback Tyson Campbell.
Less than two weeks after being acquired in a trade with the Jaguars, Campbell recorded his first turnover, interception, and pick-six as a Cleveland Brown all in one play when he intercepted Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The pass, intended for running back De’Von Achane, was tipped and then intercepted by Campbell, who had nothing but green grass ahead of him on his way to the end zone. It was a great first interception for Campbell in a Browns uniform — and hopefully the first of many.
The Browns are rolling against the Miami Dolphins with a large lead in Week 7. The team has been consistent on both sides of the ball, with several key highlight plays like this interception by Campbell. Hopefully, the Browns can continue their reputation as one of the NFL’s best defenses with another forced turnover today.
