Fall is quickly approaching, which means it’s that time of year when we get to cozy up to a brand new slate of TV shows and movies for our viewing pleasure.
You can always count on Netflix to provide some binge-worthy hits, especially fan-favorite series making their return this month. Season 2 of “Wednesday” wraps up with the much-awaited Part 2, while shows like “Beauty in Black” and “The Great British Bake Off” return with brand-new episodes.
Also on the horizon is a docuseries on the lead-up to the highly anticipated boxing showdown between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford happening this month.
Movie lovers can look forward to some new films heading to the streamer as well, including some heartfelt romance flicks and a candid two-part documentary on Charlie Sheen’s wild rise and fall.

‘Wednesday’ Season 2, Part 2
After much anticipation, “Wednesday” finally returned last month to pick back up on a new batch of mysteries at Nevermore Academy, this time with more members of the Addams Family in the mix. The final four episodes of Season 2 promise even more chaos that’ll likely set up another (already confirmed) thrilling chain of events next season.
Joining Jenna Ortega in Part 2 is Lady Gaga as the “mysterious and enigmatic” Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday. Whether that’s good or bad for the titular Addams is yet to be determined, but we do have a first look at Gaga’s character.
‘Love Con Revenge’
Netflix’s “The Tinder Swindler” shed light on the growing rise of romance scams. Now, the new series “Love Con Revenge” is helping victims get their payback. The show follows Cecilie Fjellhøy, a fraud victim featured in the 2022 documentary, as she teams up with a private investigator to expose scammers and help others take back their lives.
‘The Great British Baking Show’
“The Great British Baking Show” is back this month, welcoming a fresh batch of amateur bakers from across the U.K. Twelve new contestants will step into the iconic white tent to face three rounds of challenges each week, judged by the renowned duo Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, as they vie for the title of Star Baker. ‘Beauty in Black’ Season 2
There’s a new boss in charge in Season 2 of “Beauty in Black,” but not everyone can handle a change in regime. After solidifying her place as Horace’s wife (Ricco Ross) and the new Bellarie matriarch at the end of Season 1, Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) will now have to face the wrath of the rest of the family, aka her longtime adversaries.
Also returning to the cast are Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Charles Malik Whitfield and Debbi Morgan.

‘Next Gen Chef’
“Next Gen Chef” is a brand-new cooking show coming to Netflix. The eight-episode unscripted series goes inside The Culinary Institute of America, the world’s most prestigious culinary school, as 21 of the hottest young chefs across the country participate in a rigorous trial of tests to be crowned the best of the next generation.
‘Black Rabbit’
Set against the backdrop of New York’s nightlife scene, “Black Rabbit” revolves around two brothers (Jude Law and Jason Bateman) who learn how far family and success will push them to the edge as they struggle to run their NYC hot spot.
The cast includes Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Dagmara Dominczyk, Chris Coy, Troy Kotsur, Abbey Lee, Odessa Young, Robin De Jesus, Amir Malaklou, Don Harvey, Forrest Weber, Francis Benhamou, Gus Birney, John Ales and Steve Witting.
‘Haunted Hotel’
From “Rick and Morty” writer Matt Roller comes “Haunted Hotel,” a new adult animated comedy. The show’s synopsis states that “after inheriting a hotel from her late brother, a single mom of two moves in with his good-natured ghost — and high-maintenance guests who will never check out.”
The voice cast includes Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson.
‘Billionaires’ Bunker’
In “Billionaires’ Bunker,” a group of billionaires is forced to take shelter in a luxury bunker amid an unprecedented global conflict, reigniting an old feud between two families. Personalities are unleashed, unexpected alliances emerge and the most unconfessable secrets are revealed.
The cast includes Miren Ibarguren, Joaquín Furriel, Natalia Verbeke, Carlos Santos, Montse Guallar, Pau Simón, Alicia Falcó, Agustina Bisio and Álex Villazán.
‘House of Guinness’
“House of Guinness” is a historical drama inspired by one of Europe’s most famous family dynasties. Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the series follows the death of the Guinness family patriarch and the impact of his will on his four children as they hold the famed brewery’s fate in their hands.

‘Wayward’
Sinister secrets are lurking about in “Wayward,” a new thriller starring Mae Martin, Toni Collette and Sarah Gadon. In this series, a small-town cop investigates a series of unusual incidents at the local school for troubled teens and soon suspects that its enigmatic leader may be at the center of them.
Also starring in the cast are Sydney Topliffe, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Brandon Jay McLaren, Tattiawna Jones, Isolde Ardies, Joshua Close, Patrick Gallagher, Gage Munroe and Byron Mann.

Ahead of their face-off this month, Netflix is giving viewers behind-the-scenes access in the docuseries “Countdown: Canelo v Crawford,” an inside look at what has set the stage for the historic Sept. 13 fight.
‘aka Charlie Sheen’
In “aka Charlie Sheen,” the fallen star lifts the veil on the name that became less synonymous with being the highest-paid TV actor of all time and more so with outrageous tabloid headlines around the 2010s. The two-part documentary promises to explore Sheen’s notorious life, from his meteoric rise to public spectacles to his seven-year sobriety journey.
‘The Wrong Paris’
In “The Wrong Paris,” a woman (Miranda Cosgrove) with plans to go to art school in France thinks she’s one step closer to her dream when she joins a reality dating show in Paris — Paris, Texas, that is. She has her exit strategy in place, but not before sparks fly with the cowboy bachelor, Trey (Pierson Fodé).
The cast also includes Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Frances Fisher, Yvonne Orji, Torrance Coombs and Hannah Stocking.
‘Ruth & Boaz’
A timeless biblical love story gets reimagined in this romantic drama produced by Tyler Perry and DeVon Franklin. “Ruth & Boaz” follows Ruth Moably (Serayah), a rising Atlanta hip-hop artist who leaves behind a life of fame when personal tragedy strikes. While searching for a fresh start in rural Tennessee, Ruth discovers new purpose and love when she unexpectedly meets the generous vineyard owner, Boaz (Tyler Lepley).

‘French Lover’
Omar Sy stars in the rom-com “French Lover” as Abel Camara, a child prodigy-turned-sex symbol who seemingly has it all: money, fame, success. However, the jaded actor is going through a rough patch when he meets Marion (Sara Giraudeau), a down-on-her-luck waitress and soon-to-be-divorcée going through her own struggles. When their unexpected love story begins, can it survive the spotlight?
