“The Woman in Cabin 10” is currently the top movie on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.
The murder mystery thriller, which hit the streamer on Oct. 10, is based on Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel of the same name. It stars Keira Knightley as a journalist who, whilst on a lavish yacht trip, witnesses a passenger get thrown overboard one night, only to be gaslit into thinking the suspicious incident didn’t happen. She then puts her own life at risk by going in search of answers.
The film’s cast also includes Guy Pearce, Hannah Waddingham, David Ajala, Art Malik, Kaya Scodelario, David Morrissey, Daniel Ings and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Despite becoming an instant hit on Netflix, “The Woman in Cabin 10” received mixed reviews from critics, some of whom deemed it a “silly adaptation” that’s only moderately entertaining for its 90-minute runtime.
