South Park has responded to another government entity, after one of the Department of Homeland Security’s official social media pages used a screenshot from the animated comedy to promote Immigration and Customs Enforcement recruitment.
In a short Tuesday post on X, the South Park account quoted Homeland Security’s prior message that used an image of ICE agents on the animated comedy alongside a link to join the controversial agency.
“Wait, so we ARE relevant?” South Park shared, referencing a past statement from the White House that claimed the show “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years” following the series depicting President Donald Trump attempting to seduce Satan.

The South Park social media post continued with a hashtag that suggested those involved consume a particular part of the human anatomy.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to the Department of Homeland Security for a response to South Park‘s message.
South Park‘s prior depiction of Trump drew an incendiary reaction from the White House, telling EW in a statement that, “The left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offense’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show.”
White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers later added that “just like the creators of South Park, the left has no authentic or original content” to debut.
The back-and-forth came amid the show’s delayed season 27 premiere, which was pushed back and ultimately moved from Comedy Central to Paramount+ amid parent company Paramount’s pending merger with Skydance.
CBS, also owned by Paramount, also recently courted speculation that its cancellation of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was politically motivated in an effort to get the Federal Communications Commission to approve the Paramount-Skydance deal, as Colbert is a staunch Trump critic.
South Park isn’t the only TV entity to come under fire from the White House in recent weeks.

In an exclusive statement to EW, Rogers also slammed The View cohost Joy Behar after the 82-year-old comedian joked on the program that Trump was likely jealous of Barack Obama’s looks, marriage, and singing ability.

“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Rogers told EW, adding that Behar “should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air.”
FCC chair Brendan Carr later appeared on Fox News, where he speculated about additional “consequences” for left-leaning shows like The View.
