Speed is the ultimate x-factor in the NFL, and the experts at EA Sports have determined that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will be the fastest player in their upcoming release of the beloved Madden NFL franchise.
Worthy, who was Kansas City’s first-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, showed off his blazing speed at the combine last year, setting the 40-yard dash record at 4.21 seconds.
In Madden, players are assigned ratings for a range of attributes that correspond to their real-life skill sets.
This season, Worthy is expected to take his game to the next level, and the ratings experts at EA Sports gave him a 99 speed rating, which will be the highest mark in Madden 26 upon the game’s release.
While Worthy’s overall grade isn’t expected to be the highest, his utility as a deep threat will make him a hot commodity for Madden players who wish to take the tops off of opposing defenses.
