STACEY Solomon has opened up on her “very emotional” morning.
After six weeks off for summer, Stacey, 35, took her youngsters back to school this morning and admitted to feeling “sad” when dropping them off.
However, the Sort Your Life Out star, who has a hectic life at home with hubby Joe Swash, 43, admitted that tidying up her lavish pad “cheered me up no end.”
Posting on Instagram, the mum-of-five, who got married in 2022 in a beautiful ceremony in the grounds of her home, Pickle Cottage, shared a sweet snap holding her son Rex’s hand.
Stacey, who shares three kids with Joe – Rex, six, Rose, three, and Belle, two – and is also mum to Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, penned: “HAPPY TUESDAY, hope the school run [is] ok for you this morning.
“Good luck to all of your pickles starting a whole new life at school.

“And well done to every parent and carer out there. You did it! Smashed the summer holidays.”
As well as this, the Loose Women star added: “Everyone was very emotional going back to school this morning.
“I know they’ll be so happy when they see all of their friends.
“I did feel sad dropping them off this morning though!”
However, the cleaning fanatic then continued: “But then I got home, tidied my house and am currently looking at a clean house for the first time in six weeks. That’s cheered me up no end.”
Eager to show off her stunning £1.2 million Essex home, Stacey, who recently revealed that her family has got even bigger as she celebrated the arrival of four new ‘babies’, gushed: “Alright here we go, don’t judge the floor, I haven’t hoovered and mopped yet, I’m at the very end of the big clean and I just thought I’d walk you around with me.
“I’m sure it’s going to be very boring but you know when you get a great sense of pride when your house is clean for the first time in six weeks and it’s going to stay like this all day until everyone comes home from school. Makes me very happy.
“The kitchen is very happy and I’ve prepped dinner so I don’t have to mess it up again.”
Moments later, Stacey, who has two dogs – Teddy and Peanut – along with four ducks and four new ducklings, proudly showed off her front room, which was decorated with cushions from her Asda range.
The busy mum, who first rose to fame after appearing on The X Factor back in 2009 said: “It feels fresh and so clean.

“I’m just so happy, it’s just been such an actual bombsite for so long.
“I love it so much. I’m sorry if this is boring, I’m just really proud of myself. I haven’t stopped.”
Thrilled with her sparkling fresh hallway, Stacey admitted: “I haven’t had a clear hallway in literally months, I’m not joking.
“Literally the whole summer holidays it’s been full of absolute s**t.
“I can hear myself echo it’s so empty.”
Stacey Solomon’s cleaning tips

IF you want a home that gleams like Stacey’s, you’ll need to listen up!
Label Everything: Stacey swears by the power of labelling. From pantry jars to storage bins, clear labels help keep everything organised and easy to find.
Daily Tidy Routine: Dedicate 15-20 minutes each day to tidying up. This prevents clutter from building up and makes weekly deep cleaning less daunting.
Baking Soda Magic: Stacey uses baking soda for a variety of cleaning tasks. It’s great for deodorising carpets, cleaning grout, and even freshening up mattresses.
Upcycle Containers: Repurpose old jars, tins, and containers to store cleaning supplies, craft materials, or kitchen ingredients. It’s both eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Shine with Vinegar: White vinegar is a staple in Stacey’s cleaning arsenal. It works wonders on windows, mirrors, and even limescale build-up in kettles.
Make It Fun: Turn on your favourite music or podcast to make cleaning less of a chore and more of a fun, productive activity.
Use a Toothbrush: For those hard-to-reach spots, a toothbrush can be an excellent tool. Use it to scrub grout lines, around taps, and in other small crevices.
Declutter Regularly: Stacey advises a regular declutter session to get rid of items you no longer need. This keeps your home neat and creates more space for the things you love.
Air Fresheners: Create your own natural air fresheners using essential oils. Stacey loves using lavender or citrus oils to keep her home smelling fresh.
Microfibre Cloths: These are essential for dusting and cleaning surfaces without leaving streaks. They are reusable and can be easily washed.
Incorporate these tips into your routine for a cleaner, more organised home, just like Stacey Solomon’s!
Following this, she then showed off her “favourite place in the world” – her bedroom – as she continued: “I have got pumpkins on the bed, I’m not ashamed. I think it’s so cute and so pretty.
“It’s just so nice to have a clean house.”
As well as giving her house a good clean whilst the kids were at school, Stacey has also proudly given fans a close-up look at her Autumn Door display.
Alongside a sweet video of her stunning front door, the mother beamed: “Anyone who knows me knows this is peak happiness for me 😂
“My first ever 100% natural front door display 🥲 Anyone who says “it’s too earlyyyyy 🙄“ Sorry Wilma I can’t control nature 😂🧡
“And I can’t keep cable tying my pumpkins back on 😂 also it’s never too early for pumpkins in my opinion! 🎃”
Stacey’s fans were left gobsmacked with her “stunning” seasonal display and many eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.
