Steelers fans, the wait is almost over! With the home opener against the Seattle Seahawks just around the corner, Pittsburgh’s exciting offense is set to steal the show for a second consecutive week.
As the Steelers prepare to take the field at Acrisure Stadium, these three players on offense will be key to watch in Week 2.
WR DK Metcalf
Despite Metcalf’s claims that facing off against his former Seahawks is just another game, there could be some hidden motivation to show off against Seattle in Pittsburgh’s Aaron Rodgers-led offense.
LT Broderick Jones
Arguably the weakest link on Pittsburgh’s Week 1 offense, Jones needs to string together consistent performances to protect his starting spot. HC Mike Tomlin won’t tolerate Rodgers being sacked multiple times a game due to Jones’ inefficiencies, but a strong outing against Seattle would be the perfect starting point for the former 2023 first-rounder.
WR Roman Wilson
It’s safe to say Wilson’s offseason hype crashed and burned after failing to receive even a single target in Pittsburgh’s offense-driven Week 1 victory. However, a dominant performance against the Seahawks could help the second-year Steeler’s case.
