THE TRAITOR’S winner Harry Clark has shown his support for Conor Maynard after he was slammed by his co-star Charlotte Chilton.
Conor and Charlotte have been battling it out ever since Charlotte revealed she was pregnant – and began an 18-month fight to prove pop star Conor was the dad.
But the singer took to Instagram today and said: “Today I received the results of a second paternity test, which was requested by Charlotte Chilton regarding her baby girl, Penelope.
“As with the last test, this test has confirmed again that I am not Penelope’s father.
“As Charlotte requested, Penelope’s, Charlotte’s and my DNA were all taken at a Ministry of Justice accredited DNA testing facility that was selected by Charlotte.
“The results are therefore conclusive. This has been difficult for me and my family, and I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. I’m glad we can now finally draw a line under this.”
The statement received over 43k likes and 645 comments, including one from The Traitor’s winner Harry Clark who simply posted a love heart.
It comes after Charlotte slammed Harry for ‘ghosting her’ after she revealed her pregnancy.
The single mum then gave birth to a healthy baby daughter , before being spotted out weeks later.
But then Charlotte took aim at her Traitors co-star Harry Clark, who she says cut ties with her when she fell pregnant with his pal Conor’s child.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “That was a real kick in the teeth, The guy stopped speaking to me practically the second I told Conor I was pregnant.
“I guess the ‘bro code’ kicked in. And we all know, thanks to the show, that he has a ‘bro code’.”
Charlotte continued: “To say I felt devastated would be an understatement.
“Harry and I were thick as thieves; he was the link to meeting Conor initially, but now there’s Penelope, for whom I’m thankful.”
At the time, a source told The Sun: ‘People want Harry to take sides and are getting annoyed that he won’t.“
They added: ‘Harry is doing his best to keep out of it, which is understandable — not least because he is blameless in the situation.
“But he is obviously associated with both the show and the Maynard family.”
Back in October, Charlotte gave birth to her little girl, Penelope.
However, she then said she felt pressured into keeping Conor’s identity as “the father” a secret.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Charlotte previously said: “We had a great night together and even sent Harry a selfie of us in bed saying, ‘Successful match’.
“We kept in touch, confided in each other and planned to meet up. But after I told him I was pregnant that apparently decent man changed.
“He turned on me, I felt pressured into keeping his identity as the father a secret.”
However, Conor has always been adamant that he is NOT the father, and took the second paternity test to prove it, which he revealed came back negative.
Charlotte has since broken her silence after the results of Conor Maynard’s second paternity test were revealed.
A representative for Charlotte shared a message on behalf of Charlotte.
It read: “On behalf of our client Charlotte Chilton, we would like to address the story published in today’s Sun, confirming Conor Maynard is not the biological father of her beautiful daughter, Penelope.
“For those of you who have followed Charlotte’s journey since her appearance on BBC’s The Traitors, will know she has fought an extraordinary battle for truth with heartfelt conviction.
“We are forever grateful to everyone who has shown unwavering love and support to Charlotte over the past 12 months.”
Her team reassured her followers that Charlotte will be back soon to share her “story in full”.
They added: “Charlotte will now take time to process, heal and reflect and when she is ready, she will finally share her story in full.”
