Premier League legend Thierry Henry has revealed he’s a huge fan of future Chelsea star Geovany Quenda, and labelled the winger as “special.”
Quenda is another very exciting youngster, and is yet another example of the Blues signing one of the best young talents from around the world.
Chelsea have already secured the signatures of exciting South American duo Estevao Willian, who’s already impressed this season, and Kendry Paez who’s on loan at Strasbourg.
The Blues fought off stiff competition from the some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United for the Portugal under-21 international.

“This kid is special. I saw him at the Under-21 Euros, the way he goes about what he does, I like it,” he said as cited on X.com.
“He has no fear, you would expect that from a youngster. But there’s something special about him.
“I just hope that he can show it for a very long time. You can understand his celebration, him throwing his shirt.
“The start of a long story, hopefully.”
Quenda scored in Sporting Lisbon’s 4-1 win against Kairat Almaty in the Champions League earlier this week, and has one goal and four assists in seven appearances in all competitions this season.
