In a developing story out of Washington D.C., rumors about Trump’s health have started to circulate after a photo was taken of him in his office with a suspicious-looking kettle of vultures circling above his head.
Individuals took to social media immediately to speculate about what this might mean for the President’s health.
“My mom had a few vultures circle the sky above her head once,” one Instagram user replied in the comment section of the photo, posted by AP news. “She was dead by dawn.”
Another user agreed, saying, “The concealer on the back of his hand raised some questions, and the vultures circling him answered all of them. That man is a walking carcass.”
However, medical professionals are still hesitant to weigh in and confirm anything with the current facts.
“Circling vultures definitely isn’t a good sign, but it also doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to die any time soon,” Dr. Anya Thompson, Head of Surgery at Johns Hopkins, told reporters. “It could just be that he exudes an aura of decay. Frankly, that sort of thing is out of my field, so I’ll leave it to others to speculate about that.”
Dr. Shireen Maher, Head of Oncology at Stanford, shared similar sentiments.
“Being circled by vultures is just too vague,” she told reporters. “Now, if he were spotted with the grim reaper standing over his shoulder, or if a big ‘X’ were painted in blood on the front door of the White House, I would be able to make a much more accurate prediction of what’s going on. But, as it stands now, I’m hesitant to say anything.”
Animal experts largely refused to talk to reporters, with a few reporting cryptically that, “Vultures are unpredictable beasts with motivations we have yet to understand.” However, one expert who wished to remain anonymous, told reporters, “They want his bones.” Though, this ultimately did little to help reporters figure out if Trump was dying or not.
However, while most experts were hesitant to say for certain what the vultures might mean, regular citizens did not share these reservations, and when questioned by reporters, were more than happy to confirm, “This is it. He’s dead for sure.”
