Ukraine faced power cuts of up to 16 hours across most regions on Sunday operators said, as the country scrambles to make repairs after massive Russian attacks targeted its energy infrastructure. The national energy provider said the attacks had put its generating capacity down to “zero”, adding to the risk of heating outages in the coming months.
