Here’s what’s new and hitting Hulu in October.
The infamous Murdaugh murders are the subject of a new Hulu true crime drama. “Murdaugh: Death In The Family,” inspired by the “Murdaugh Murders Podcast,” chronicles how Maggie and Alex Murdaugh, members of one of South Carolina’s most powerful legal dynasties, are put to the test when their son Paul is involved in a deadly boat crash. As details come to light, the family’s connections to several mysterious deaths raise questions that could upend everything they hold dear.
The eight-episode limited series stars Patricia Arquette, Jason Clarke, Brittany Snow, Johnny Berchtold, Will Harrison, J. Smith-Cameron, Gerald McRaney and Noah Emmerich.
A couple’s dream home becomes a nightmare trap in “Stay.” The thriller, directed by Jas Summers, follows a married pair (Megalyn Echikunwoke and Mo McRae) whose relationship is nearing its end as they begin to encounter supernatural forces in their new house, forcing them to fight for their lives.
Good help is so hard to find in Hulu’s “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle.” The film, a remake of the 1992 horror flick, centers on a suburban couple (Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Raúl Castillo) who hire a seemingly sweet nanny (Maika Monroe) to care for their baby — only to find out the nanny isn’t who she claims to be.
